It's almost that time of year again! Our church will soon begin collecting filled shoe boxes for children around the world, for Operation Christmas Child. This international ministry of Samaritan's Purse takes the simple gift of a box filled with toys, candy and other items and turns it into an opportunity to reach children worldwide with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Tentative plans are for our collection day to be Sunday, Nov. 14. Be on the lookout for the display in the back of the Worship Center in the coming weeks, and there will be other opportunities to "build your shoe box online" for those who are still unable to gather publicly.
