Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:14 At the heart of our ministry here at The Church at Shelby Crossings are families. We strive to provide spiritual development and worship opportunities for all ages, including preschoolers. We want everyone in our fellowship to….

Know God. Love People. Serve Others

Ministry Focus

  • KNOW GOD: to create a rich environment for learning about God, Jesus, the Bible, the church, others and family
  • LOVE PEOPLE: to support and encourage parents as they lay the foundation for spiritual growth in their children
  • SERVE OTHERS: to provide a safe, age-appropriate setting to care for preschoolers while their parents are involved in Bible study and worship

Ministry Goals

It is our desire that every little one who comes to TCASC will:
  • feel safe and associate church with a happy place to be;
  • have a sense of belonging, feel loved and special;
  • know Bible stories and truths;
  • memorize scripture; and
  • know Jesus Christ as their Savior.
Preschool Volunteers are parents, grandparents, single adults, college students and older youth who love working with preschoolers. They serve as teachers, assistants, greeters and snack/craft providers on a regular rotating basis. All volunteers working with children under the age of 18 are expected to complete a background check authorization.
